Macar Charity Golf
We raised over £6,000 at the Macar Charitable Golf day for a local child who suffers from a rare disease called Bulbar Palsy. Macar was instrumental in getting the local community together to raise this life changing amount of money so that the child had access to the absolute best in healthcare possible for what is a severely degenerative disease. We continue to offer support to the individuals most in need in our community on a regular basis.
Supporting our local Rugby Team – Chipstead RFC
Chipstead RFC is a rugby club at the heart of the local community and matches Macar Developments’ values, priding themselves on creating a safe, family friendly environment for all to play and enjoy Rugby. They provide opportunities for children aged 5 to 18 in a fantastic community atmosphere. Every Sunday, Chipstead RFC post over 200 children from the youngest age group all the way through to the oldest group, with outstanding coaching support.
Supporting our local golf course - Purley Downs Golf Club
We sponsor Purley Downs Golf Club, host of the 2019 Surrey County Amateur Championships to help the local community. We recognise the gains associated with sport in regards to mental health, with golf providing an additional social benefit during play, which is invaluable given the current pandemic. Macar continues to find ways of helping people seeing an uplift in their well-being.
